Sometimes i take watercolor paper and paint it with the makeup, i cut it out and tape it to my head!!! Being bald has its advantages, because tape sticks beautifully to the skin. The facepaint goes onto the masking tape easily and covers great! My eyes have gotten worse and worser since i turned 40...I can usually put them on and off until i get a painting looking good...but when there is a face right between my eyes the glasses dont help either and i just have to fake it! My Jesus on the cross face was near impossible as i had to just do it impressionistic! I upload my pics into the computer to crop and adjust the lighting, and most of the time i see where i missed a spot or two. I go back and touch up any offending areas and try shooting again! I hate painting the inside of my nostrils!!! I end up spitting the color for hours...yukk! But i am willing to do what is necessary for the shot.
